On February 16, the organization concluded the revalidation exercise as an Authorized Economic Operator (initiated in December 2023), which was carried out in person at the facilities of each of the organization’s branches by the National Tax and Customs Directorate – Subdirectorate of Authorized Economic Operator and the National Police Antinarcotics Directorate, who validated compliance with the requirements established in Resolution 4089 of 2018. Likewise, on March 4, Siacomex received the certification body Icontec to carry out the follow-up audit focusing on the ISO 9001:2015 standard at its main office in Bogotá, in which processes such as Strategic Planning, Integrated Management System, Import Management, Export Management, Commercial Management, and Administrative and Financial Management were validated. As a result of these two validation exercises, the organization obtained satisfactory results, among which the audit team highlighted positive aspects such as the willingness of the work team, demonstrating proactivity in improving processes and activities, as well as the staff’s commitment to maintaining compliance with requirements, the strategic analysis carried out by top management, and the excellent risk management in all organization processes, among others. With this, the organization closes the cycle of external audits scheduled for the first quarter of the year.
